Welcome to the Metal Gear Solid 1 Walkthrough!
This is the game that practically main-streamed the Stealth concept. Stealth is what makes this game so unique because you do not need to fight battles unlike most war video games. In fact, it is often discouraged to battle (unless it is required in the story). Suspense tends to build up as you plan out what your next move is going to be in order to get from point A to point B while avoiding any enemy contact whenever possible.
Note: -Something’s to keep in mind. Your saves will go back to the point of when you just entered your recent area. Any data afterwards will not be included in the save including items obtained, soldiers incapacitated, ect.
-Items included in the walkthroughs items list, does not include any items picked up from soldiers since it varies.
-Different difficulties may also have different quantity of items then that from this list.
-Soldiers will respawn if you leave an area and come back so make sure you think before proceeding.
-Whenever you are in combat, if you are running out of ammo in your current magazine, double-tap R1 to quickly reload.
